Opening day of the Triple Crown World Series Championships is under way here in Park City, UT. Fifty Eight teams joined in the opening day parade... Fifty Eight teams will be competing against each other for the next five days to earn their way to the championship game on Saturday.
Some in this world may not fully understand whats at stake at these fast pitch games. Like any kid who strives to succeed at anything, these young ladies play hard all year long to earn a spot at these games. You don't just pay and fee and show up to Triple Crown... You have to be invited.
Of the fifty eight teams here to compete... it can be assured there are another fifty or so teams that didn't make it. Chances are some of those teams have disbanded. So the cycle continues.
This will be an exciting week regardless of the predicted outcomes as well as the unexpected upsets. Old rivals will face each other once again and new rivals will surface. This is what all this hard work is for and this is what this girls will remember until times end. Congratulations athletes and many thanks to all the organizers of the Triple Crown Finals here in Park City, Utah.
