Although the fact is, I have never met a person who did not enjoy the benefits of a good work out! I will repeat.... I... have never... met a person... who did NOT... enjoy the BENEFITS... of a good WORK OUT. Light conditioning is the key to staying healthy and light conditioning is what I consider the best method for preventing injuries.
When looking for a team or more appropriately... a coach, look for one who incorporates easy conditioning. Naturally, there are different levels of conditioning, but to start... it's best to go easy... VERY EASY... and build on your own stamina gradually.
The knuckle dragging girls I witnessed complain at the start, all enjoyed the work out by the end of the season and looked forward to getting back into it for the next season. In fact, most could not WAIT to get back into it by the next season. Yes, even the bigger girls as well as the smaller, so no excuses. Seriously... Once you start it, your gonna wanna condition.
