2010 Women's College World Series Sets Attendance Record

The 2010 Women's College World Series has broken every attendance record in the books.

The single-session attendance record fell twice earlier in the week, with a then-record 8.694 fans at Session 3 on Friday, followed by a new record of 9,080 fans at Session 5 on Saturday.

At the conclusion of the Championship, the final attendance number was 62,562, eclipsing the previous total of 62,463, which was set in 2007 with a three-game Championship Series.
